Islamic Art Prints.

During Haseebah’s print residency at BCU she created a series of 3 to 4 colour lino prints which depict the geometrical foundations of the more intricate Islamic Art patterns you might see today. The rich colours and multiple layers are reminiscent to the Islamic architectural structures of today. Haseebah wanted to focus on the basic’s of Islamic geometrical art first, before going on to more extravagant pieces that she hopes to do in the future. All the pieces are lino printed onto A3 paper.
